A Seasoned Litigator & Investigator
Over the course of his career, Chad has litigated hundreds of cases before judges and juries in multiple jurisdictions. Chad spent years aggressively fighting for his clients and litigating criminal matters as a skilled public defender. He provided creative, client-centered defense for thousands of indigent clients and developed extensive litigation experience as first and second chair, resulting in numerous not guilty verdicts, dismissals, reductions of charges, and reduced sentences. Chad also negotiated countless positive outcomes for clients, owing to his extensive case investigation, meticulous trial preparation, and aggressive litigation of pretrial motions.
Prior to joining Prinz, Chad was an Associate Inspector General with the City of Chicago Office of Inspector General where he provided legal counsel on numerous and varied workplace investigations and audits of city departments. He conducted investigations into city contractor, elected official, registered lobbyist, and employee misconduct, including claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, time theft, fraud, and ethics violations.
Chad has also represented clients in the non-profit sector in Chicago on matters ranging from healthcare and workplace discrimination to administrative hearings on public benefits disputes, and has served as a staff attorney to various legislative committees of the Virginia General Assembly.
