Laura Lefkow-Hynes Publishes Article on Trailblazing Female Attorney

Prinz attorney Laura Lefkow- Hynes recently penned an article highlighting the life of Irene Lord Lefkow, a pioneering female attorney who was also Laura's great- grandmother. Laura writes that Irene was a true "trailblazer": a "lawyer mom" before women were able to vote, she defended a man accused of a highly publicized murder and ran for alderwoman in Chicago. Irene faced fierce criticism as a woman attorney, yet managed to have a highly successful legal career, paving the way for future women in law, including her great-granddaughter.
