One of the new employment laws taking effect in Illinois in 2025 is an amendment to the state’s Human Rights Act. Going forward, workers with caregiving responsibilities will be protected from discrimination in employment. Prinz’s Laura Feldman was asked by the Chicago Sun-Times why this change was so critical to filling a previous gap in the law.
